First Things First is Arizona’s early childhood agency, with programs and resources to support great childhoods. By focusing on the first five years, we are making a difference in the lives of young children, their families and our communities. Quality early learning and child care are essential for stronger, healthier families and for the economic future of Arizona.
First Things First supports no-cost programs for young children from birth to age 5 and their families. We also work with more than 1,000 child care and preschool providers in Arizona to improve the quality of early learning in ways that help young kids learn, grow and thrive.
There’s no one right way to raise a child, and you don’t need to be perfect. To help you do the best you can, First Things First has information, videos and resources for supporting your child’s healthy development and learning.
